Maitland Medical was formed in 1995 by a team of health professionals wanting to deliver a unique form of occupational health advice and support.

A constant stream of recommendations has seen us grow steadily, working with small local enterprises through to large corporate organisations throughtout the UK.

With our head offices based just inside the M25 motorway, in Kent, our team of specialist occupational health physicians and nurses work on a nationwide basis. In addition to the wide range of services offered we continue to develop strong and established partnerships with exceptional professionals in associated disciplines in order to extend and enhance our range of services where necessary. Our in-depth experience, commitment to high quality medical employment advice and sound insight means our services are sought with confidence by employers, insurers, solicitors and unions.  
 
Maitland is still run by the two health professionals that founded the business and a large proportion of our clinicians and support staff, have been with the business more than 8 years, many since we started.

Elsewhere in the occupational health sector many smaller, more personal providers have merged with or been acquired by much bigger businesses. Today much of the market seems to be dominated by giant providers many owned by insurance companies.

We have chosen to stay true to what we know best – medical expertise, delivered personally, our core business. We believe our independence and objectivity is of great value to all our clients.
