Our specialist Occupational Health provision for
schools, academies and colleges

Any organisation struggles operationally to accomodate absence and of course lost work days cost money.  Within educational institutions absence will often have a significant impact on students and of course colleagues.  Disruption of lesson preparation and delivery, setting and marking of work can result in affecting the performance and results of indivdiual pupils and ultimately of the school.  The costs of supply teachers and the general disruption created operationally can cause managerial and colleague frustration and increased overall workload for everyone.  The 'knock on' effect can sometimes manifest in additonal pressures and stress.

Maitland Medical work closely to understand each school environment and consider ways to help reduce absenteeism and explore ways of promoting staff health and wellbeing both physically and mentally.

We already have an extensive portfolio of schools to which we deliver occupational health support and services, location is not a problem.  Our dedicated team of doctors, nurses and specialists have extensive medical and occupational health experience and provide a highly personalised service tailored to suit each organisation’s needs.
