Specialist occupational health provision for Schools, Academies and Colleges

Lost work days cost money and any organisation struggles operationally to accommodate absence.  Within educational institutions we’re aware of the impact absence can have on both students and colleagues.  The disruption of lesson preparation and delivery, setting and marking of work creates upheaval for pupils, colleagues and of course the school.  The costs of supply teachers and operational disruption can cause managerial and colleague frustration with increased workloads sometimes manifesting in additional pressure and stress.

The education sector is continually changing and Maitland maintains a working understanding of  School, Academy and College environments, the legislation and their challenges. We work with each organisation to help reduce absenteeism and explore ways of promoting and optimising staff health and wellbeing both physically and mentally. We also offer specialised training days for management within Schools and Academies to help them manage recruitment, absence and health and safety.

We already work with an extensive portfolio of schools to whom we deliver occupational health support and services, with clinics around the UK.  Location is not a problem. Our dedicated team of doctors, nurses and specialists provide a commercial, highly personalised service tailored to suit each School, Academy or College's needs.

Good reasons your school or academy should think about outsourced Occupational Health
